About the role
- Lead and contribute to the development of proposals, responses to requests for information (RFIs) and other relevant documents
- Collaborate with employees within various functional areas
- Agree on the sales strategy with the sales team
- Run internal kick-off meetings with the proposal contributing team
- Draft proposals and expedite requests to senior leaders for the provision of expert text
- Communicate the status of projects to department directors and senior management
- Maintain timelines for deliverables for internal and external clients
- Research information for RFIs and RFPs
- Create and edit proposals and related documents based on the client’s requirements/specifications
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
- Demonstrable ability to understand complex concepts/ideas and apply them to a specific function/task
- Self-starter as demonstrated by actively seeking out solutions to problems and self-educating when knowledge is lacking
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical development and commercialization
- Previous industry-related experience
- Highly organized with excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Demonstrated strong writing skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Good attention to detail – quality driven
- Exceptional computer skills with expert working knowledge of Microsoft Office® (specifically Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
