About the role
- Design and develop modern web frontends with a strong focus on UX/UI
- Create UI/UX concepts, wireframes, mockups, and high-fidelity designs
- Work with Figma, Photoshop, and similar design tools to design user interfaces
- Translate your own designs (and sometimes provided concepts) into clean, responsive HTML/CSS
- Customize and extend storefront frontends using Twig templating (Shopware)
- Work with existing theme structures and follow best practices for maintainability
- Implement UI components, layouts, and interactions with attention to usability and detail
- Ensure consistent design systems, spacing, typography, and visual hierarchy
- Optimize frontend performance and loading times
- Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility
- Collaborate with backend developers and stakeholders
- Maintain clean, reusable, and well-structured frontend code
- Continuously improve UX and usability based on feedback and best practices
Requirements
- Strong experience as a UI/UX Designer and Frontend Developer
- Excellent skills in HTML5, CSS/SCSS, and JavaScript
- Strong sense for design, layout, typography, colors, and user experience
- Solid knowledge of Twig templating
- Hands-on experience with Figma, Photoshop, and comparable design tools
- Ability to create complete designs independently, from concept to final UI
- Solid understanding of responsive and mobile-first design
- Experience translating designs into maintainable frontend code
- Familiarity with component-based frontend structures
- Basic experience with Git and version control
- Detail-oriented, creative, and structured working style
- Nice to have: Experience with accessibility and usability best practices
- Nice to have: Experience with frontend performance optimization
- Nice to have: Experience creating and maintaining design systems
- Nice to have: Ability to interpret business requirements and turn them into UX-driven solutions
