About the role

  • Own the end-to-end design process for features across multiple product areas from concept to delivery
  • Translate complex AI capabilities into clear, intuitive, and engaging user experiences
  • Maintain and evolve a unified design system to ensure consistency and scalability across products
  • Design for emerging and evolving UX patterns in a fast-moving AI product landscape, drawing on market trends and competitor insights
  • Adapt quickly and manage multiple projects in parallel, delivering at speed without compromising quality
  • Work hand-in-hand with Product Managers, Engineers, and Marketers from concept to delivery
  • Rapidly prototype and test ideas before committing to full builds
  • Provide clear, actionable feedback during design reviews and help raise the bar for design quality
  • Be open to challenging ideas and having your own ideas challenged, fostering healthy debate to achieve the best design outcomes
  • Support fast-paced A/B testing with quick design iterations
  • Experiment with AI-assisted design workflows to speed up delivery and explore new possibilities
  • Stay ahead of design trends, AI UX patterns, and emerging interaction models

Requirements

  • 5+ years of end-to-end product design experience, ideally in dating or social platforms, chat-based experiences, AI-generation tools, or live-interactive gamified products
  • Strong skills in interaction design, visual design, responsive design and information architecture
  • Proven ability to ship impactful features from 0→1 and iterate based on real-world feedback
  • Proficiency in Figma, with the ability to create production-ready UI assets
  • Expert-level prototyping skills to clearly communicate ideas, flows, and interactions to developers and stakeholders
  • Resourceful problem-solving: able to find creative solutions that achieve both beauty and practicality.
  • Strong ability to synthesise insights from competitor and market research into actionable design decisions.
  • Nice-to-Haves: Experience designing AI-driven products or other complex, emerging tech experiences, Experience with AI content-generation tools such as Midjourney, Kling, or Replicate, A genuine interest in AI, demonstrated through personal projects, experimentation, or professional work, Strong grasp of effective copywriting, recognising that copy is an integral part of design, Skills in motion design, illustration, or 3D, Understanding of HTML/CSS/JS for effective collaboration with developers to deliver solutions that are both visually compelling and technically sound, Experience working on subscription-based products with a focus on retention and monetization
