Communication Officer

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the implementation of communication strategies and initiatives that contribute to EMA’s priorities and address stakeholder needs;
- Plan, produce, coordinate and publish engaging, user‑centred content, ensuring best practices and alignment with corporate messaging and branding;
- Contribute to multi‑channel communication campaigns, including co‑creative initiatives with stakeholders and evaluation of impact;
- Deliver day‑to‑day communication activities, including research, drafting, review and publishing tasks, monitoring trends and performance, and reporting insights for evidence‑based decisions.
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least 2 years relevant professional experience to the roles and responsibilities outlined in the vacancy notice
- Professional experience from a communication role in an English-speaking communication environment, ideally in a regulatory, medical or scientific field and in an international context
- Experience of and knowledge of good practices in one OR more of the following areas: - web editing and management; - media relations; - social-media management.
- A level of education which corresponds to completed university studies of at least three years attested by a diploma that must have been obtained by the closing date of this vacancy notice.
- Enjoy full rights as a citizen of a European Union Member State, Iceland, Liechtenstein, or Norway;
- Have a thorough knowledge of English (at least level C1) and a satisfactory knowledge of another official language of the European Union (at least level B2);
