About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Define the scope of testing for each product and release by collaborating with Test Engineers and defining, reviewing, and writing test scenarios
Plan test activities, track progress and approach, ensure priority alignment, and coordinate environments and tools with involved parties
Assess product quality by reviewing requirements and design documentation and creating test scenarios, test cases, and test data, including test automation
Run product-quality assessments and report test outcomes
Continuously identify ways to improve product quality, including requirements review and testing-approach improvements
Apply test-analysis and test-automation patterns to ensure requirement coverage and fast, reliable test execution
Integrate into the Development team and closely cooperate with a major client's IT team

Requirements

What you’ll need

University degree in IT combined with at least 7 years of relevant IT professional experience
Hands-on experience creating efficient test approaches, test plans, test scenarios, and test cases, including execution
Experience in API testing using Postman, Kreya, or similar tools
Experience with databases and SQL, containerized solutions, and observability tools
Experience writing and editing automated tests
Experience with system integration testing
Excellent knowledge of testing standards and methods
Defect management, including defect prioritization and root-cause analysis
Experience in complex enterprise system integration
End-user (UAT) management experience
Experience with test and defect management tools
Experience with agile software development and testing methodologies
Ability to understand business context, define priorities, communicate with technology-focused teams, and communicate test-campaign outcomes
Excellent command of English
