About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • First point of contact for customers reporting claims
  • Independently evaluate benefit claims under travel insurance policies
  • Make well-founded decisions within delegated authority and handle claims settlement
  • Identify potential subrogation/recovery claims and document them

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Completed commercial training, ideally as an insurance clerk/insurance specialist or equivalent qualification
  • At least one year of experience in claims or benefits handling
  • Basic medical, business administration, or legal knowledge
  • Very strong German language skills and good English skills; additional languages are a plus
  • Ability to work independently and with great attention to detail
