About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

First point of contact for customers reporting claims
Independently evaluate benefit claims under travel insurance policies
Make well-founded decisions within delegated authority and handle claims settlement
Identify potential subrogation/recovery claims and document them

Requirements

What you’ll need

Completed commercial training, ideally as an insurance clerk/insurance specialist or equivalent qualification
At least one year of experience in claims or benefits handling
Basic medical, business administration, or legal knowledge
Very strong German language skills and good English skills; additional languages are a plus
Ability to work independently and with great attention to detail
