About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own the health of EULER’s data end to end, including capture, validation, protection, and structure
Define instrumentation requirements and work with engineering and product to record data correctly
Build validation and reconciliation systems for data quality and integrity
Own data protection and anonymization practices and document customer commitments
Design canonical data models and taxonomies across customers
Build datasets and documentation supporting reporting and analytics
Make data understandable to non-builders through clear documentation
Set the standard for how EULER treats data and independently own the data domain

Requirements

What you’ll need

Strong SQL, including window functions and careful aggregation
Production data pipeline ownership end to end
Software engineering skills to write, test, and review pipeline code
Tested and reviewable code
Sceptical, data-driven approach to validating numbers and distributions
Ability to independently own a domain and set priorities
Clear written communication
Professional working English
Availability during US East Coast working hours
Nice to have: data privacy experience with anonymization and pseudonymization
Nice to have: GDPR/LGPD applied to real datasets
Nice to have: multi-tenant B2B SaaS data experience
Nice to have: dbt or equivalent analytics engineering practice
Nice to have: statistics knowledge including survival analysis, censoring, selection bias, and hierarchical models
Nice to have: Cloudflare Workers and Hyperdrive
Nice to have: Postgres, Parquet, or DuckDB
Nice to have: Bubble or similar low-code platform experience
Deep learning, an LLM portfolio, or a PhD are not required
