About the role

  • Client communication: Liaise with our tax advisors and support them in advising and servicing clients on tax matters by e-mail, phone, and in person
  • Master tax laws: Learn the latest tax laws and regulations to develop an understanding of complex rules and apply them successfully to real-world situations
  • Liaise with tax authorities: Act as the communication lead and interact with tax authorities to request information, clarify questions, and resolve potential issues
  • Process payroll and accounting: Perform payroll processing and assist in preparing financial accounting and annual financial statements—working with different clients, industries and legal forms, with a specialization in e-commerce and online retail to keep the work varied
  • Prepare tax returns: Dive into the world of tax returns, learn how to prepare them, review tax assessments, and ensure compliance with the latest laws and regulations

Requirements

  • Strong start: You have completed, or are about to complete, your (Fach-)Abitur (German higher education entrance qualification) and are ready for the next step
  • Welcome challenges: You enjoy analysing complex issues and finding solutions to help others achieve their financial goals
  • Interest in finance: You are passionate about taxes and finance and have a basic understanding of numerical relationships
  • Skills & language: You have fluent German skills, both written and spoken, and good verbal communication. You are able to work in a focused and conscientious manner
  • Team-player attitude: You enjoy working in a team and are ready to achieve great things together
