About the role
- Lead statutory audits in accordance with HGB (German Commercial Code) and special statutory regulations
- Manage the audit team and provide support on complex technical issues
- Serve as the main point of contact for accounting questions and conduct special audits
- Monitor, review and document audit findings and results
- Coordinate closely with the responsible auditors
Requirements
- Completed degree in Business Administration, Law, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering or a related field
- Several years of professional experience in financial audit and solid knowledge of national accounting (HGB)
- Initial exposure to international standards (e.g., IFRS) is an advantage
- Experience with data analysis and IT-supported audit procedures
- Confident user of MS Office and common ERP systems
- Excellent written and spoken German
- Structured, solution-oriented working style, commitment, initiative and openness to innovative solution approaches
