About the role
- Diverse financial accounting: You will prepare financial accounting and management reports for companies of various sizes, industries and legal forms
- Responsible for tax submissions: You will independently prepare VAT returns and ZM reports (intra‑EU transaction statements) and ensure all tax requirements are met accurately and on time
- Account reconciliation and clearing of open items: You will reconcile accounts and resolve outstanding items to maintain clear and accurate bookkeeping
- Support for year‑end closing: You will provide valuable assistance with preparatory year‑end closing tasks to help ensure proper completion of the financial statements
- Assistance with tax audits: You will support the preparation for tax audits and act as an important interface for smooth cooperation with audit authorities
Requirements
- Enjoyment of client contact: You are communicative and enjoy working directly with clients to develop solutions
- Structured and solution‑oriented work style: Your work is careful and independent, and you tackle challenges efficiently and purposefully
- Organizational strength and digital affinity: Your organizational skills and interest in digital processes help you optimize workflows together with our clients
- Qualification: You have completed training as a tax clerk (Steuerfachangestellter) or a comparable commercial qualification or further training
- Professional experience in financial accounting: Several years of practice in financial accounting provide the specialist expertise required for this role
- DATEV knowledge: You are confident using our accounting software DATEV and use it efficiently to complete your tasks
