About the role

  • Support on M&A and financing mandates in the renewable energy sector across Europe – from analysis through to closing
  • Financial modelling and valuation of companies and projects (integrated models, sensitivities, scenarios)
  • Preparation of teasers, information memorandums and decision papers for investors and lenders
  • Analysis of transaction, financing and due diligence documents
  • Market and company analyses and direct collaboration with experienced deal leads and clients on active transactions

Requirements

  • Completed degree or close to completion
  • Initial relevant internships or professional experience in M&A, corporate finance or financial modelling
  • 2–3 years of relevant professional experience in M&A, corporate finance or project finance for Associate level
  • Ideally first experience handling independent work packages within transactions
  • Experience in renewable energy is a plus
  • Strong skills in financial modelling; programming skills are an advantage
  • Excellent analytical ability, numerical competence and a structured, precise working style
  • Business fluent German and English; additional languages are an advantage
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
