About the role
- Support on M&A and financing mandates in the renewable energy sector across Europe – from analysis to closing
- Financial modelling and valuation of companies and projects (integrated models, sensitivities, scenarios)
- Preparation of teasers, information memoranda and decision papers for investors and lenders
- Analysis of transaction, financing and due diligence documents
- Market and company analyses and direct collaboration with experienced deal leads and clients on live transactions
Requirements
- Completed degree or final year student
- Initial relevant internships or professional experience in M&A, corporate finance or financial modelling
- 2–3 years of relevant professional experience in M&A, corporate finance or project finance as an Associate
- Ideally first experience handling independent work packages in transactions
- Experience in the renewable energy sector is a plus
- Strong skills in financial modelling; programming skills are an advantage
- Excellent analytical skills, numerical proficiency, and a structured, precise working style
- Fluent German and English; additional languages are an advantage
- Excellent MS Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint
