About the role
- Lead, craft, and execute strategies to sell financial operations, people operations, and risk services
- Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships
- Network with entrepreneurs, founders and startup people at events and co-working locations
- Build quality relationships with key service providers to generate referrals
- Perform needs analysis of potential clients
- Coordinate sales effort with cross-functional team members within the US and India
- Prepare proposals that present, promote, and sell our services
- Manage the sales pipeline and achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
- Visit client locations and attend associated events as required; up to 25% travel
- Articulate Escalon’s value proposition and identify opportunities to close business
Requirements
- 5+ years as an account manager or sales representative
- Understanding of finance and accounting concepts, including payroll and tax
- English proficiency (oral and written); professional phone presence; presentation and writing skills
- Planning/Organizing: prioritizes and plans work activities; sets goals and organizes others' tasks
- Relationship Management: builds trust, respects client needs, understands client drivers
- Ability to work effectively within a remote setting with expectation to visit client locations and attend events
- Willingness to travel up to 25%
- Well versed in Microsoft Office suite; familiarity with BRM and CRM practices
- Must reside within a drivable distance to Mohali office
