About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead business development and client engagement activities within the Power, Diversified Energy, and Technology sectors
  • Provide senior technical oversight for biological resources, ecological restoration, habitat conservation, and environmental permitting programs
  • Support clients through project planning, permitting, construction, and operations phases
  • Develop and grow key client relationships while identifying opportunities for additional services
  • Mentor and develop technical staff and project managers
  • Collaborate with ERM partners and service line leaders to support regional and national growth initiatives
  • Drive project delivery excellence while meeting financial, safety, and quality objectives
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients developing and operating major infrastructure projects
  • Help expand ERM's market presence and technical capabilities

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • BS/MS in environmental science, engineering, or related field
  • 15+ years of progressive experience in environmental consulting
  • Proven leadership in mitigation and ecorestoration, including endangered species and habitat conservation
  • Deep understanding of conventional and renewable energy markets in North America
  • Strong business development track record generating and delivering multi-million-dollar programs
  • Expertise in HCPs and regional permitting
  • Experience establishing mitigation banks and writing vegetation management plans preferred
  • Existing client relationships in the Power, Diversified Energy, and/or Technology sector preferred
  • Familiarity with utility commissions, regulatory agencies, and emerging sustainability trends preferred
