About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Deliver proposals, including company profiles, scopes of work, schedules, and commercial terms
  • Deliver large, complex, multidisciplinary consulting and technical due diligence projects and project deliverables
  • Lead technical, operational, and business plan evaluations of proposed infrastructure investments
  • Coordinate Q&A submissions, management sessions, client meetings, and report delivery
  • Work across ERM technical communities and with subcontractor subject matter experts to support project delivery and client interaction
  • Complete internal development tasks to improve infrastructure service line functionality
  • Lead, inspire, and mentor personnel for technical team success
  • Apply ERM practices and policies within business models
  • Take direction and achieve objectives with minimal oversight

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Solid academic background with an engineering bias, such as Civil, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum 7 years of technical consulting, engineering, or operational experience in energy or infrastructure sectors
  • Strong technical skills and ability to identify risks and opportunities in technical documentation, site visits, and technical discussions
  • Ability to assess asset integrity, operational performance, management systems, and business plans
  • Excellent organisational skills, self-motivation, self-sufficiency, and ability to work in a fast turnaround team environment
  • Ability to execute quality work and maintain high standards
  • Advanced report writing and presentation skills
  • Experience in a client-facing role
  • Experience reviewing contracts and agreements, financial models, designs and specifications, and budgets for industrial projects
  • Experience assessing asset integrity and performance, including HSE, maintenance, and availability
  • Ability to manage or assist with complex project delivery and coordinate multiple workstreams into client deliverables
  • Experience managing external client projects or working in a client-facing role
  • Hands-on experience with renewable energy due diligence covering Solar, Wind, BESS, or Hydro
  • Experience calculating Energy Yield Assessments
  • Previous technical due diligence experience
  • Knowledge of reasonable CAPEX and OPEX costs for engineering assets or projects
  • Familiarity with decarbonization strategies and technologies
