About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Conduct traditional and social media monitoring using web-based and licensed monitoring tools
  • Identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks and provide analysis supporting client objectives
  • Research, identify, and maintain stakeholder information
  • Maintain stakeholder and public comment tracking databases and prepare reports and summaries
  • Support development of fact sheets, newsletters, meeting summaries, reports, and project updates
  • Coordinate public meeting and event logistics, including venues, catering, presentation materials, handouts, and attendee support
  • Participate in community outreach events and stakeholder engagement activities
  • Manage project communication channels, including voicemail systems and email response coordination
  • Provide administrative and project support, including task tracking, proofreading, online research, meeting coordination, file maintenance, travel planning, conference call support, and vendor coordination
  • Comply with project-specific health and safety requirements
  • Support additional ERM service areas and projects as needed
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • BS/BA in Communications, Public Affairs, Journalism, English, Political Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 0 years of relevant professional experience; internships and related experience may be considered
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced consulting environment
  • Adaptable, proactive, and collaborative approach to work
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment with occasional travel, approximately 2–4 weeks annually
  • Experience using social media platforms
  • Not eligible for immigration sponsorship
  • Preferred: 1–2 years of public relations, public affairs, communications, stakeholder engagement, or related experience
  • Preferred: Spanish language fluency
  • Preferred: Experience with Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, or similar design tools
  • Preferred: Experience supporting public outreach, community engagement, or event coordination initiatives
  • Local candidates preferred
