Serve as ERM’s on-site manager overseeing decommissioning, decontamination, and demolition projects at diverse industrial sites like oil and gas facilities, power plants, and former chemical manufacturing plants.
Manage field construction projects involving demolition, environmental remediation, civil works, site development, earthwork, hazardous waste management, and more.
Lead field implementation of innovative and traditional remedial solutions for contaminated soil, groundwater, sediment, and vapor.
Assist with the planning and oversight of remediation and decommissioning, decontamination, and demolition projects.
Review contractor submittals and ensure compliance.
Provide construction management support and quality assurance.
Support site investigations and hazardous materials handling.
Serve as Field Safety Officer and Demolition Manager when needed.
Plan and schedule on-site staff and evaluate subcontractor performance.
Communicate with the field team and Project Manager.
Assist in business development activities.
Requirements
4 to 6 years of experience with remediation construction sites and industrial decommissioning, decontamination, and demolition projects.
BS in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
Equivalent experience will be considered in lieu of BS.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Project.
Excellent client service, communication, and organizational skills.
Willingness to travel and spend 80-90% of time in the field.
Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER training required (OSHA 30-hour Construction and 8-hour supervisor a plus) is a plus.
Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) is a plus.
