About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide on-site construction management for early works scopes including mass grading, utilities, roads, demolition, and remediation
  • Direct and coordinate daily field activities to ensure safe, timely, and quality delivery
  • Serve as single point of contact for early works construction and communicate project status
  • Manage scope, schedule, and budget including KPI and cost tracking
  • Coordinate contractors, vendors, and stakeholders for aligned execution
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental programs
  • Support agency coordination, stakeholder engagement, and community interactions
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and develop reporting tools
  • Manage vendor performance and ensure contract compliance
  • Drive continuous improvement and problem solving across project phases

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 10+ years of construction management experience or equivalent expertise
  • 7+ years managing complex capital projects and programs
  • Strong experience in “extreme” mass grading and large-scale civil construction (projects no less than 4 million cubic yards of soil) for 10 years
  • Experience with mission-critical facilities or large-scale projects
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite, MS Project, and Bluebeam (P6 preferred)
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment and manage cross-functional teams and relationships
