About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Help ensure safe execution of environmental construction and remediation projects.
  • Safeguard teams by upholding and enforcing health & safety standards.
  • Provide accurate asbestos sampling, reporting, and compliance oversight.
  • Partner with clients to deliver trusted, high-quality environmental solutions.
  • Expand ERM’s impact across multidisciplinary consulting areas.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelors or Degree in Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science or a related discipline; or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in asbestos-related projects specifically to industrial sites, large demolition projects, construction safety, air compliance and contaminated site investigation.
  • California Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH) Certified Asbestos Consultant (CAC) or Certified Site Surveillance (CSST) Certification, current.
  • California Department of Public Health (CDPH) – Certified Lead Sampling Technician or Certified Lead Inspector / Assessor, current.
  • Strong computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CAD, etc.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness to be cross trained in additional health and safety/industrial hygiene work.
  • Ability to travel within the southern and central California areas.
  • Driver's License Required: This position requires a valid driver's license and/or the ability to operate a company vehicle due to the nature of job duties, which include frequent travel to various client locations across a large geographical area.
  • This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.
