Senior Consultant, Air Quality
ERMSenior Consultant providing environmental solutions related to air quality for clients in the oil & gas and technology sectors. Collaborating to develop compliance strategies for sustainability and regulatory challenges.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Deliver expert guidance on air quality permitting and compliance for major capital projects
- Influence environmental strategies for global clients across diverse sectors
- Contribute to innovative climate initiatives, including greenhouse gas reduction and energy efficiency programs
- Build trusted relationships with regulators and stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes
Requirements
What you’ll need- BS in Chemical or Environmental Engineering, or Environmental Sciences (MS preferred) or equivalent experience
- 3+ years (4+ years preferred) of experience in environmental permitting and compliance
- Hands-on experience with air quality construction permits, Title V, PSD, NSR, BACT, and/or MACT
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in spreadsheets and databases
- Excellent communication skills and ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to travel to client sites as needed
- This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.
- Advanced degree in a related field (preferred)
- Experience with climate change projects such as GHG inventories and emission reduction strategies (preferred)
- Familiarity with emerging Low Carbon Fuel Standards and complex permitting programs (preferred)
