About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Act as a Project Manager for various projects across multiple industries, with a focus on mining
Support mining projects throughout their entire lifecycle
Structure and guide work processes to design, implement and improve programs
Provide support for federal and state permitting activities related to mining projects
Responsible for ensuring project compliance with environmental regulations
Prepare proposals, including development of scopes and cost estimates
Adhere to scope/budget/schedule expectations and ensure quality standards on project deliverables
Build strong collaborative relationships with clients and other ERM employees
Distil and analyze complex data, trends, and concepts into clear and concise takeaways

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in a Science or Engineering program or equivalent
6+ years of professional experience relevant to the responsibilities described above
Experience working in the mining/metals field, site experience preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong MS Office computer skills, with an advanced understanding of PowerPoint and Excel
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced consulting environment
Ability to maintain flexibility and work independently with minimal supervision
Motivated to deliver outstanding client service and grow the business
Experience with regulatory applications for mining and/or mine closure preferred
Fluency in Spanish, both written and spoken preferred
