About the role

  • Support large industrial and global clients in multiple sectors
  • Contribute to projects that ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations
  • Help organizations operate sustainably through innovative solutions
  • Assist with a variety of EHS regulatory compliance and risk management projects
  • Prepare plans, permits, and reports for hazardous waste, air quality, stormwater, and wastewater programs
  • Conduct EHS compliance assessments and implement corrective actions to meet federal, state, and local regulations
  • Support development of EHS compliance and management system programs
  • Provide on-site EHS compliance support to clients as needed
  • Conduct environmental fieldwork and audits, including sampling and ecological studies
  • Carry out inspections, incident investigations, safety observations, job safety analyses, and risk assessments based on OSHA requirements
  • Support multiple projects within scope, budget, and schedule while ensuring quality deliverables
  • Collaborate with ERM Partners-in-Charge and Project Managers to deliver exceptional client service

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering or Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related discipline
  • 0–2 years of EHS experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical and organizational abilities
  • Ability to balance multiple tasks
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member
  • Travel locally up to 60% of the time
  • Valid driver's license and/or the ability to operate a company vehicle
  • Preferred Certifications such as ASP, EIT, CHMM, OSHA30 or similar
  • Familiarity with EHS compliance programs and/or management systems
  • Strong interest in developing technical and consulting skills
