About the role
- Support large industrial and global clients in multiple sectors
- Contribute to projects that ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations
- Help organizations operate sustainably through innovative solutions
- Assist with a variety of EHS regulatory compliance and risk management projects
- Prepare plans, permits, and reports for hazardous waste, air quality, stormwater, and wastewater programs
- Conduct EHS compliance assessments and implement corrective actions to meet federal, state, and local regulations
- Support development of EHS compliance and management system programs
- Provide on-site EHS compliance support to clients as needed
- Conduct environmental fieldwork and audits, including sampling and ecological studies
- Carry out inspections, incident investigations, safety observations, job safety analyses, and risk assessments based on OSHA requirements
- Support multiple projects within scope, budget, and schedule while ensuring quality deliverables
- Collaborate with ERM Partners-in-Charge and Project Managers to deliver exceptional client service
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering or Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related discipline
- 0–2 years of EHS experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and organizational abilities
- Ability to balance multiple tasks
- Ability to work independently and as a team member
- Travel locally up to 60% of the time
- Valid driver's license and/or the ability to operate a company vehicle
- Preferred Certifications such as ASP, EIT, CHMM, OSHA30 or similar
- Familiarity with EHS compliance programs and/or management systems
- Strong interest in developing technical and consulting skills
