About the role
- Lead and support ecological risk assessments and site investigations
- Manage, query, and analyze large chemical and biological datasets
- Conduct literature reviews on toxicological and biological topics
- Develop work plans, figures, and technical reports with precision and clarity
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely, high-quality deliverables
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
- Communicate effectively with clients, regulatory agencies, and subcontractors
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in toxicology, environmental toxicology, chemistry, public health, ecology, or related life sciences (minimum 3.0 GPA)
- 4–5 years of relevant experience; consulting experience preferred
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills with proficiency in managing large datasets (MS Excel)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical reporting and client interaction
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced consulting environment, managing multiple priorities under strict deadlines
- Driver's License Required: This position requires a valid driver's license and/or the ability to operate a company vehicle due to the nature of job duties, which include frequent travel to various client locations across a large geographical area
- This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship
- Advanced degree (MS or higher) in a related discipline preferred
- Experience with ecological risk assessments and regulatory compliance in oil and gas sectors
