About the role
- Develop and implement strategic market/business plans
- Provide leadership and strategic direction for expanding ERM's air quality service area
- Identify and develop new opportunities, prepare effective technical proposals
- Develop and expand client relationships that generate repeat business
- Direct strategic air permits and compliance programs
- Achieve client’s expectations for scope, budget, schedule, and quality
- Manage project deliverables, budgets and schedules
- Identify and develop new opportunities, prepare effective technical proposals
- Mentor junior and mid-level staff in the proper planning and execution of air quality projects
- Collaborate with other ERM global practitioners to execute air quality projects
Requirements
- Recognized expert in federal and state air regulations
- Minimum of BS in engineering (chemical, mechanical, environmental) or related discipline; Or equivalent experience
- Certification in field; P.E., CSP, CHMM, or similar registration desired
- 8+ years (15+ years preferred) of solid air quality consulting experience
- Strong track record of managing project deliverables, schedule and budgets
- In-depth understanding of the Oil & Gas, Energy, Technology, or Chemical industry
- Consistent 'seller/doer' track record
- Established reputation in the local marketplace and recognized technical expertise
- Demonstrated leadership ability to build, coach, and mentor collaborative teams
- Excellent communication (written/verbal), strategic thinking, negotiation, presentation skills
