About the role

  • Support pre-sales team on RFP preparation with the scope of work, timeline plan and high-level project plan.
  • Evaluate EHS PS software systems available on the market, including assisting clients with system requirements and system selection.
  • Provide advice on different EHS PS software systems in response to specific data, organizational and operational requirements.
  • Interact with clients on a routine basis to gather requirements and develop a full understanding of various business scenarios in order to assist with the development of appropriate proposals.
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of SAP methodology, principles, theories, concepts and techniques.
  • Engage in all life cycle stages of project execution; provide support and enhancement to SAP platforms and solutions as required to meet the overall business objectives of clients.
  • Analyze user requirements, prepare requirements document, as-is & to-be processes and identify gaps.
  • Prepare for and lead project Blueprinting sessions with customer stakeholders to gather and document effective business requirements and translates requirements into functional and technical design specification documents.
  • Design processes to meet requirements and prepare functional specifications.
  • Facilitate management of change issues with the adoption of new information systems.
  • Collaborate with clients to develop/refine implementation strategy and on-going testing needs.
  • Prepare test plans, conduct testing validation, and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Implement SAP EHS Product Compliance software solutions such as SAP for clients worldwide.
  • Assist with SAP system configuration, integration, training, rollout, support, maintenance, and improvements.
  • Lead consultant teams that configure/deploy SAP EHS Product Compliance solutions; specific activities include publishing system design documents, configuring components within the solution, analyzing/migrating data, and specifying custom reports/dashboards and automated interfaces.
  • Provide knowledge transfer enablement through formal documentation and end-user training.
  • Engage in system support and training documentation teams, prepare and present training to internal consultants and client system users.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or Chemical / Environmental Engineering / Science.
  • 5 to 10 years’ experience – consulting and/or industry.
  • Strong chemistry and Product Stewardship / compliance knowledge and experience.
  • Experience with a minimum of three full life-cycle implementations including all phases.
  • >= 2 Full Cycle SAP Product Compliance deployments – ECC and/or S/4HANA – including all phases such as planning, defining requirements, design, build, test, and deployment.
  • Strong Chemical / Pharmaceutical business and market knowledge.
  • Strong SAP technical knowledge of specification database, materials management materials master & procurement, Logistics shipping & delivery, customer master and overall SAP landscape functionality & integration.
  • Strong business process knowledge – Product Stewardship / Product Compliance, P2P, OTC, and Manufacturing.
  • Commercial acumen and drive – track record of customer relations, business development and proposal management.
  • Project delivery skills – track record of technical delivery success to scope and budget.
  • Self-motivated and driven.
  • People skills – project staff leadership, client stakeholder engagement, client leadership relationship.
  • Project Management certifications (Nice to Have).
  • Strong Manufacturing – High Tech and Hard Goods - business and market knowledge (Nice to Have).
  • SAP EHS Product Compliance Architecture skills – WWI / GenPC, Expert, OCC / ADM / Cloud Loader (Nice to Have).
  • SAP EHS Product Compliance Content SME – 3E ERC+, SPRC Content Yordis/Opesus and/or CDX/SAP (Nice to Have).
  • SAP technical skills (ABAP, BTP, iDoc, ALE, APIs, etc.) and certifications (Nice to Have).
  • SAP Product Compliance Adjacencies technical skills / experience – GTS, PLM, Sustainability Suite (SCT, SFM, RD&P) (Nice to Have).
  • SME in global product compliance regulatory requirements (Nice to Have).
