About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Handle an average of 70 calls per day for appointment scheduling
- Answer inquiries about daily appointment scheduling and provider availability
- Attend required trainings including Electronic Health Records (EHR) training
- Schedule appointments in accordance with site-based guidelines
- Update patient demographic and insurance information
- Verify Individual Health Coverage eligibility
- Handle administrative, clinical, and informational calls
- Manage voicemails and send messages accurately
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- One year of call center experience required
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office
- Ability to type at minimum 25 words per minute
- Customer Service focused commitment
- Previous work from home experience preferred
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish required
- An Illinois-Issued driver’s license or state ID is required
