About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the development of the Lithium business (60%)
- Customer qualification and documentation
- Respond to customer qualification questionnaires as part of tender processes (RFPs)
- Coordinate internal experts to provide complete, relevant and timely responses
- Structure and maintain the associated document system (data sheets, certifications, etc.)
- Manage the handling of customer claims from receipt to resolution, ensuring responsiveness and customer satisfaction
- Contribute to root cause analysis and the definition of corrective actions in collaboration with production sites
- Handle major or urgent incidents: product rejections, stock non-conformities
- Draft response arguments and customer letters; formalize and update complaint handling procedures
- Calculate compensation amounts granted to customers in collaboration with commercial teams
- Measure and manage quality performance indicators (OTIF, complaint rate, resolution time) across all product lines
- Lead quality meetings with production sites to identify root causes and track corrective action plans
- Develop and maintain techno-economic models of customer processes (lithium refining, battery production, etc.)
- Analyze customers' industrial processes, their operational constraints and commercial potential
- Identify markets where substitution is not possible and assess their value potential for Eramet
- Assess the potential of new products and applications in line with Group strategy
- Provide expert technical support to commercial teams and international offices
- Design and deliver regular training for sales teams, in France and internationally
Requirements
What you’ll need- Master's degree or engineering degree in Chemistry, Chemical/Process Engineering or equivalent scientific discipline (Master's level)
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a technical field: R&D, industrial process modeling, Operational Excellence, Technical Marketing or Technical Sales Support
- Background in chemistry / process engineering with a strong interest in techno‑economic modeling
- Ability to handle a variety of technical topics with rigor and strong synthesis/analytical skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Fluent English required (international environment)
