Senior HSE Mission Officer – Flying Doctor
ErametSenior HSE Mission officer at Eramet supporting safety teams on critical sites and developing safety culture initiatives. Involves analyzing safety risks and ensuring compliance on field operations.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support safety teams on one or more critical sites (inspections, coaching, training, accident investigations, action plans).
- Develop, share and promote initiatives that support a strong safety culture across all sites.
- Participate in Eramet Group prevention activities.
- Analyze safety risks at mission sites and propose prioritized action plans to local teams.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations in the field and support teams in the continuous improvement process.
- Deploy and audit safety management systems, including the Group’s essential requirements, on intervention sites.
- Lead the analysis of safety accidents and incidents, identify root causes and track corrective actions.
- Rely on strong technical knowledge of industrial equipment and processes to assess risks as close to operational reality as possible.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Engineering degree or Master’s degree, with 10–15 years of experience in industrial safety.
- Proven experience implementing improvement plans in complex industrial environments.
- Strong ability to persuade, coach and persist to drive changes with field teams.
- Organizational and synthesis skills in multicultural contexts.
- Excellent written communication and facilitation skills to make complex content accessible.
- Strong ability to build networks with stakeholders at all levels.
- Availability for frequent international travel, including to remote sites (60–70%).
- Fluent English is essential (international working environment).
