About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support Safety teams at one or more critical sites (inspections, coaching, training, accident investigations, action plans)
- Develop, share and support initiatives that foster a strong safety culture across all sites
- Participate in Eramet Group prevention initiatives
- Assess safety risks at assigned sites and propose prioritized action plans to local teams
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations in the field and assist teams in achieving conformity
- Deploy and audit safety management systems, in particular the Group's Essential Requirements, at intervention sites
- Lead accident and incident investigations, identify root causes and ensure follow-up of corrective actions
- Rely on strong technical knowledge of industrial equipment and processes to assess risks close to operational realities
Requirements
What you’ll need- Engineering degree or Master’s degree, with 10–15 years of experience in industrial safety
- Proven experience implementing improvement plans in complex industrial environments
- Strong influencing skills, pedagogical ability and persistence to secure buy-in from field teams
- Organizational and synthesis skills in multicultural contexts
- Excellent writing and facilitation skills to make complex content accessible
- Strong ability to work across networks with stakeholders at all levels
- Availability for frequent international travel, including to remote sites (60–70%)
- Fluent English required (international working environment)
