Medical Director

• Position Summary: The Medical Director of Neurology provides clinical leadership, oversight, and strategic direction for the organization’s neurology program. This role combines direct patient care with administrative leadership, ensuring the delivery of high-quality neurological services, alignment with best practices, and compliance with regulatory requirements. The Medical Director will also play a key role in physician recruitment, mentorship, and program growth.
• Clinical Care & Shifts: Provide expert neurological care via telehealth during 12 scheduled shifts per month.
• Clinical Leadership & Quality Oversight: Oversee clinical quality within the neurology program, ensuring adherence to evidence-based guidelines, organizational standards, and patient safety protocols.
• Proctoring & Mentorship: Proctor and evaluate new neurology providers to ensure competency and alignment with organizational protocols.
• Recruitment & Program Development: Partner with physician recruitment to identify, interview, and onboard qualified neurology providers.
• Collaboration & Communication: Serve as the primary liaison between neurology providers, leadership, and other service lines.
