About the role
- Translate the report from English to Russian with precise use of legal and human rights terminology.
- Ensure stylistic consistency, readability, and fidelity to the source.
- Incorporate team feedback and perform self-editing/proofreading prior to submission.
- Adhere to agreed timelines and formatting guidelines.
Requirements
- Native-level fluency in Russian and strong proficiency in English.
- Proven translation skills, particularly in legal and human rights contexts.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and deliver high-quality result.
- Experience translating materials on gender-based violence, women’s rights, or disability rights.
- Familiarity with international human rights standards, especially regarding sexual violence, disability, and access to justice.
- Knowledge of criminal and criminal procedure terminology.
- Prior experience working with NGOs or international organisations.
