About the role
- Learn from, shadow, and collaborate on projects with ERA’s Strategic Communications Team
- Opportunities may include: social media content creation, video creation and editing, graphic design, digital marketing trends monitoring, data collection and analysis, campaign strategy development, event planning/support, drafting copy for digital and marketing platforms, community storytelling
Requirements
- Preference will be given to undergraduate students planning to pursue a career in nonprofit work, public policy, or public service
- Major fields of study: communications, marketing, multimedia, public relations, digital media/graphic design, nonprofit management, political science, or another area supporting the student’s plan to enter the social justice field
- At least 18 years old
- Demonstrated interest in and commitment to civil rights, gender equity, and social justice
- Strong written communication skills required
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail
- Experience with Canva preferred
- Experience with video creation or editing preferred
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
- Ability to work well collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
