About the role

  • Producing and improving reports and analysis using Excel and other tools
  • Working with business systems and data to ensure information is accurate and reliable
  • Supporting core finance and operational processes and investigating discrepancies
  • Collaborating with Finance, Trading, and Operations teams to improve workflows and information flows
  • Helping document, review, and improve business processes
  • Supporting system enhancements, upgrades, and testing
  • Contributing to automation and efficiency initiatives
  • Assisting with regular reporting cycles and ad-hoc analysis

Requirements

  • We’re keen to hear from candidates who are:
  • - Highly detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy
  • - Comfortable working with data and keen to develop strong Excel skills
  • - Interested in systems, reporting, and process improvement
  • - Curious, analytical, and motivated to learn
  • - Able to work collaboratively across teams and communicate clearly
  • **Essential:**
  • - Degree-level qualification in a relevant subject (e.g. business, finance, economics, maths, engineering, sciences)
  • - Good Excel skills and confidence working with data
  • - Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
  • **Desirable:**
  • - Exposure to finance, trading, operations, or data-focused environments
  • - Interest in the energy industry or financial markets
  • - Familiarity with automation, reporting, or data tools
  • - Basic understanding of systems or programming concepts
