Key responsibilities & impact

Work as part of the Epsilon team on a wide range of environmental licensing, permitting and compliance projects
Perform project management
Mentor junior staff
Assist with community sound level measurement programs
Meteorological data collection
Data analysis
Shadow flicker analyses for wind turbines
Sound level modeling
Report preparation
Occasional fieldwork and overnight, out-of-state travel

Requirements

What you’ll need

3-7+ years of experience in a consulting environment
B.S. or B.A. in Acoustics, Engineering, Environmental or Physical Sciences, or Physics
Experience in using sound level measurement and meteorological equipment
Experience with ISO 9613-2 sound modeling software (i.e. CadnaA, SoundPLAN)
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Superior written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work cooperatively as part of a multidisciplinary project team
Strong organizational skills
Detail oriented
Project management experience
Experience presenting technical material to clients, agency staff and/or regulatory boards
Using programming languages (i.e. Python) is a plus.
Experience in noise control engineering and/or in the energy industry is preferred.
Valid driver’s license to operate a motor vehicle for business travel, including proper insurance and registration
