About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Work as part of the Epsilon team on environmental licensing, permitting and compliance projects
- Perform project management
- Mentor junior staff
- Assist with community sound level measurement programs
- Conduct meteorological data collection, data analysis, shadow flicker analyses for wind turbines, sound level modeling, and report preparation
- Occasional fieldwork and overnight, out-of-state travel
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3-7+ years of experience in a consulting environment
- B.S. or B.A. in Acoustics, Engineering, Environmental or Physical Sciences, or Physics
- Experience in using sound level measurement and meteorological equipment
- Experience with ISO 9613-2 sound modeling software (i.e. CadnaA, SoundPLAN)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Valid driver’s license to operate a motor vehicle for business travel
