About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Responsible for the successful start-up, testing, verification, and handover of inverter systems in the field.
  • Ensures that inverters and associated balance-of-system components are installed, configured, and operating according to technical specifications, safety standards, and performance requirements.
  • Works closely with project managers, installation crews, customers, and engineering teams to ensure smooth project execution.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, Renewable Energy, or related field; or equivalent technical experience.
  • 3+ years of experience with power electronics, solar inverters, energy storage inverters, UPS systems, VFDs, or similar equipment.
  • Hands-on experience with electrical commissioning, troubleshooting, and high-voltage operations (up to 1,500 V DC and LV/MV AC).
  • Strong understanding of: AC/DC power systems
  • Three-phase systems
  • Protection relays, grounding schemes
  • Modbus/TCP, Ethernet, CAN, and other communication protocols
  • Ability to read electrical schematics, SLDs, wiring diagrams, and control logic.
  • Willingness to travel 50-80% as required.
