About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible for the successful start-up, testing, verification, and handover of inverter systems in the field.
- Ensures that inverters and associated balance-of-system components are installed, configured, and operating according to technical specifications, safety standards, and performance requirements.
- Works closely with project managers, installation crews, customers, and engineering teams to ensure smooth project execution.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, Renewable Energy, or related field; or equivalent technical experience.
- 3+ years of experience with power electronics, solar inverters, energy storage inverters, UPS systems, VFDs, or similar equipment.
- Hands-on experience with electrical commissioning, troubleshooting, and high-voltage operations (up to 1,500 V DC and LV/MV AC).
- Strong understanding of: AC/DC power systems
- Three-phase systems
- Protection relays, grounding schemes
- Modbus/TCP, Ethernet, CAN, and other communication protocols
- Ability to read electrical schematics, SLDs, wiring diagrams, and control logic.
- Willingness to travel 50-80% as required.
