You will be part of an interdisciplinary team across Security, IT and Hosting and support varied tasks related to IT security, data protection, and certifications.
You will support the implementation of measures to improve our security standards and processes and contribute your own ideas.
You will help develop security policies and coordinate with different business units on requirements and possible solutions.
Together with the Security team, you will conduct risk assessments by identifying, classifying, and evaluating security risks.
You will research current threats, newly discovered vulnerabilities, legislation, and trends in IT security, and prepare findings for the team.
You will assist in preparing and carrying out certification processes (e.g., ISO 27001), including the required documentation.
You will help create training materials and security awareness content for employees.
You will produce reports and summarize the current status of security measures for projects or products.
Requirements
You are currently enrolled in a degree program, preferably with a focus on Computer Science, Business Informatics, or Security.
You have basic knowledge or initial experience in IT security or secure software development (e.g., through studies, internships, or personal projects).
You demonstrate accuracy and responsibility in your work, especially when documenting and analyzing security-relevant topics.
You are interested in current developments in IT security and motivated to acquire new knowledge.
You are willing to take on responsibility and engage proactively with colleagues to solve problems.
You have excellent German language skills (C2 level) to analyze and process requirements from laws, regulations, or customer documents, and to document findings.
You have good English skills for working with international teams, documentation, and technical literature.
Optional: Knowledge of data protection/privacy (e.g., GDPR).
Experience with certifications (e.g., ISO 27001) or security awareness initiatives.
