About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Analyze customer requirements and develop tailored energy storage solutions encompassing batteries, BMS, inverters, transformers, protection systems, and SCADA
Provide technical solutions across utility-scale, commercial and industrial, telecommunications, and residential markets
Articulate Eos benefits for peak shifting/shaving, long-duration dispatch, ancillary services, micro-grid systems, and renewable firming/smoothing
Partner with Sales and internal technical teams to prepare technical responses to customer RFQs/RFPs
Ensure successful handover of customer orders to project management
Obtain customer feedback on product performance, quality, documentation, and satisfaction, and relay findings internally
Foster technical champions at key accounts to support pipeline conversion into revenue
Use procedures, tools, and best practices to scale the technical pre-sales organization
Monitor energy storage industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive developments
Provide regional and global market insights and maintain competitive intelligence
Assist with product manuals and data sheets as needed

Requirements

What you’ll need

Technical expertise in the energy storage market
Electrical engineering background
Strong understanding of battery technologies and their technical/commercial differentiators
Working knowledge of DraftSight strongly preferred
Strong understanding of battery storage markets, relevant customers, and technology providers
Strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills
Ability to perform technical evaluations in energy storage applications
Compliance-oriented, passionate about technical aspects, and self-motivated
Fluent English, written and spoken
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering required; Electrical or Mechanical strongly preferred
2 years of experience in energy storage required
