Country Manager

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and grow Eolus’ development operations in Sweden
- Identify and develop project opportunities
- Ensure portfolio delivers strong commercial and strategic results
- Oversee full project development lifecycle in Sweden including market screening, origination and development till projects are ready to build
- Manage project portfolio
- Responsible for budgeting, project prioritization, and financial monitoring
- Represent Eolus towards external stakeholders such as authorities, landowners, partners, and industry associations
- Ensure regulatory compliance and monitor developments in Swedish energy policy and permitting processes
- Collaborate with central functions such as technology, engineering, M&A, power markets, and finance to optimize project value
Requirements
What you’ll need- 10-15 years of experience in the energy sector
- Comprehensive understanding of the renewable energy development processes in Sweden
- Strong commercial and technical understanding, experience from power markets and M&A is a clear plus
- Proven experience from commercially successful projects in Sweden
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- High proficiency in English
- MSc degree in engineering, economics, or a related field
