About the role

  • Carry out installation and support activities, including system deployments, routine health checks, log inspections, patching, and upgrades.
  • Deliver both reactive and proactive support, escalating issues where service levels or quality may be at risk.
  • Manage and update support tickets promptly, ensuring clear communication and timely resolution.
  • Maintain in-house reference systems that mirror customer environments.
  • Develop and maintain support documentation, contributing to a growing knowledge base that strengthens service delivery and resilience.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with customers, promoting Envitia’s reputation for reliability and excellence.
  • Keep Account Managers informed on customer sentiment, personnel changes, and potential opportunities identified through support interactions.

Requirements

  • Experience deploying and hosting applications within corporate Linux and/or Windows environments
  • Proficiency in scripting languages, particularly PowerShell and Bash
  • Familiarity with Java-based applications
  • Hands-on development experience is an advantage
  • Experience managing application hosting in Cloud or virtualized environments such as Azure, AWS, or VMware
  • Analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Experience supporting applications with integration and connectivity challenges
  • Capable of working independently to provide effective 1st and 2nd line support
  • SC security clearance requirements
