About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Strengthen how the Compliance, Monitoring and Enforcement (CME) Group measures, reports on, assures and continuously improves its performance
- Lead enterprise-wide reporting and assurance activities
- Develop and maintain reporting frameworks, quality assurance systems and governance processes
- Support operational excellence, accountability and informed decision making
- Build assurance capability across the organisation
- Drive continuous improvement
- Ensure CME reporting demonstrates the value, outcomes and impact of regulatory activities
- Develop performance and governance reports
- Analyse operational data and trends
- Coordinate assurance reviews
- Provide quality advice to leaders
- Work with subject matter experts to translate complex regulatory information into clear, meaningful insights
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience leading or contributing to reporting, assurance, governance or performance functions within a complex organisation
- Strong report writing skills
- Ability to translate technical, scientific or regulatory information into clear and accessible insights
- Experience developing, implementing or improving quality assurance processes, frameworks or systems
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to draw meaningful conclusions from data and information
- Confidence working independently while influencing and collaborating across teams and organisational boundaries
- Strong relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills
- High level of attention to detail
- Commitment to delivering quality outcomes
- Experience working in central government, local government, regulatory or public sector environments
