About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Strengthen how the Compliance, Monitoring and Enforcement (CME) Group measures, reports on, assures and continuously improves its performance
Lead enterprise-wide reporting and assurance activities
Develop and maintain reporting frameworks, quality assurance systems and governance processes
Support operational excellence, accountability and informed decision making
Build assurance capability across the organisation
Drive continuous improvement
Ensure CME reporting demonstrates the value, outcomes and impact of regulatory activities
Develop performance and governance reports
Analyse operational data and trends
Coordinate assurance reviews
Provide quality advice to leaders
Work with subject matter experts to translate complex regulatory information into clear, meaningful insights

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience leading or contributing to reporting, assurance, governance or performance functions within a complex organisation
Strong report writing skills
Ability to translate technical, scientific or regulatory information into clear and accessible insights
Experience developing, implementing or improving quality assurance processes, frameworks or systems
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to draw meaningful conclusions from data and information
Confidence working independently while influencing and collaborating across teams and organisational boundaries
Strong relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills
High level of attention to detail
Commitment to delivering quality outcomes
Experience working in central government, local government, regulatory or public sector environments
