Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong experience in regulatory systems or environmental science, with relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience
- Experience working with legislation such as the Hazardous Substances and New Organisms Act 1996, or similar regulatory frameworks
- Proven ability to provide high-quality technical, scientific, or regulatory advice to decision makers
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and reporting skills, with a strong customer focus
- Ability to lead or contribute to complex pieces of work, while supporting and coaching others
- Strong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret complex technical information, identify risks, and communicate insights clearly
- Highly organised and self-motivated, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results under pressure
- Strong attention to detail, combined with sound judgement and a pragmatic, solutions-focused approach.
