Requirements

  • Demonstrated leadership of a procurement function, preferably in public sector or regulated environments
  • Ability to apply Government Procurement Rules and provide expert advice to senior stakeholders
  • Experience uplifting capability, improving processes, and embedding procurement frameworks
  • Familiarity with NZGP competency frameworks, procurement lifecycle, commercial practice, and system wide expectations
  • Diploma in NZ public Sector Procurement / Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (MCIPS) or equivalent qualification
  • Strong commercial, financial, and analytical acumen.
