About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop business-critical web and backend applications
Own features end-to-end — from requirement clarification and technical design through implementation and automated tests to delivery and ongoing evolution in production
Work closely with business analysts, UX/UI and architecture teams
Challenge requirements and contribute technical perspectives early
Ensure quality through automated tests, code reviews, clear interfaces and maintainable code
Shape architecture decisions, development standards, CI/CD processes and the team's technical practices
Advance engineering practices in internal initiatives, currently including work in the area of agentic engineering
Pragmatically transfer proven engineering practices into real customer projects

Requirements

What you’ll need

Several years of professional software development experience
Experience maintaining production applications over an extended period
Strong expertise in either backend or frontend with confident, productive capability on the other side
Good knowledge of Java and/or Kotlin as well as TypeScript
Experience with Spring Boot and Angular and their ecosystems
Experience with automated testing
Practical application of Clean Code and Clean Architecture principles
Experience with APIs, databases and integrating heterogeneous systems
Basic knowledge of cloud, containerization and CI/CD
Consider security, maintainability, performance and operability already during development
Ability to explain technical issues clearly, seek feedback early and collaborate constructively with other disciplines
Commitment to building a great product and taking responsibility for its quality
