About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the full lifecycle of natural gas distribution projects while working closely with project engineers, designers, and cross‑functional stakeholders.
  • Review public improvement plans, preparing engineering designs, performing engineering calculations, developing pipeline routes, and creating construction estimates.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, municipalities, and external partners while providing field support and site visits as needed.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in civil, mechanical, chemical, petroleum engineering, or a related engineering discipline from an accredited institution.
  • Ability to travel for occasional project visits and maintain a valid driver’s license without restrictions.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment with site visits and in‑person meetings in Indianapolis, IN.
  • 0–2 years of experience in natural gas engineering.
  • Experience in transportation engineering or general utility engineering.
