About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the full lifecycle of natural gas distribution projects
- Review public improvement plans
- Prepare engineering designs
- Perform engineering calculations
- Develop pipeline routes
- Create construction estimates
- Coordinate with project engineers, designers, cross-functional stakeholders, municipalities, and external partners
- Provide field support and conduct site visits as needed
- Support safe, efficient, and compliant delivery of public improvement projects
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must be located in the DFW area
- Bachelor’s degree in civil, mechanical, chemical, petroleum engineering, or a related engineering discipline from an accredited institution
- Ability to travel for occasional project visits
- Valid driver’s license without restrictions
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment with site visits and in-person meetings in Dallas, TX
- 0–2 years of experience in natural gas engineering preferred
- Experience in transportation engineering or general utility engineering preferred
