About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Maintains deep expertise in transmission planning and advanced analytical methods
Leads complex calculations, modeling, workflows, and QA/QC for major projects
Guides process improvements and helps develop new standards and procedures
Communicates technical concepts clearly to leaders, clients, and stakeholders
Manages large cross‑functional projects, identifies risks, and drives mitigations
Serves as primary client contact and ensures compliance with industry standards
Mentors engineers and technicians; develops documentation for knowledge transfer
Supports major proposals and contributes to industry committees and presentations

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an ABET accredited university required
15 years of related experience
Required experience may be reduced to 12 years for well qualified individuals with a Professional Engineering (PE) License, or P.Eng License
Professional Engineering (PE) License, OR P.Eng License
Knowledge of multiple engineering analysis software packages such as PSSE, PSLF, PSCAD, ASPEN, ETAP, TARA
