About the role
- Serve as a subject matter expert and key resource for power plant consulting projects, focusing on electrical generators, exciters, and auxiliaries.
- Interpret project objectives and develop actionable plans to ensure targets are met or exceeded.
- Prepare for client meetings and lead discussions, demonstrating technical expertise in generator engineering.
- Assist management with business opportunities, conferences, and training sessions.
- Interface with industry organizations such as EPRI.
- Involve in field project execution with travel requirements up to approximately 10-15%.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science Degree (or higher) in Engineering.
- 8-10+ years of proven experience in generator design, manufacturing, or service-related roles.
- Proficiency in relevant engineering calculations, assessments, and analyses.
- Willingness to travel as needed to support projects and business development initiatives.
