Designer

• Layout and Design residential subdivisions both stand alone and within master planned communities, mixed use developments, commercial/retail projects, etc.
• Design work will include but not limited to paving, grading, drainage, water, and sewer design
• May assign the final drafting/plan production to other drafters or draft/generate or may draft/generate the plans for oneself.
• Prepares engineering calculations in support of infrastructure design
• Review and apply design standards established by all agencies involved in each project.
• Ability to work within the scope, schedule, and budget assigned to each project.
• Prepare hour estimates in support of project pursuits
• Manage and mentor designers or drafters. Assign designers or drafters work, answer questions, mentor, and check for quality and accuracy as needed.
