About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Assess and recommend COTS A/V technology solutions, standardization, engineering efficiencies, and technical designs in accordance with AVIXA and Extron systems
  • Perform C4ISR engineering drafting, drawing review, drawing control, and related design services for audio-visual equipment, systems, and installations
  • Prepare digital drawings using AutoCAD in accordance with Appendix Q1 of the NIWC SIPH v4.1
  • Create, update, and maintain A/V Systems work products, including System Design, IDP, ILSP, Platform SOVT, and SIPH MILCON artifacts
  • Provide government input for bills of materials and cost estimates for MILCON projects
  • Support AV system integration through design, troubleshooting, and configuration, including Extron programming
  • Provide MILCON site support for infrastructure checks, installation monitoring, troubleshooting, and A/V system testing

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance
  • Bachelor Degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent combination of education and training relevant to task order tasking
  • 5 years of experience planning, designing, installing, and integrating audio-visual systems in government and industrial facilities, including conference centers and meeting rooms
  • AVIXA CTS-D and CTS certification
  • Extron programming certification
  • 2 years of experience with DoD design or installation projects
  • Ability to travel up to 25%
  • Experience with COTS A/V technology and Extron systems
  • Experience with C4ISR engineering drafting and drawing review/control
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD
  • Experience creating A/V Systems design and MILCON work products
